30gigs.com invite system exploited

So it looks like someone figured out how to exploit the 30gigs.com invite system to allow anyone to sign up. So far I haven’t trusted them with anything important, and plan on keeping it that way for a bit at least….

for those of you not in the know:

30gigs.com is a free email service that gives you 30 gigabytes of space (roughly the same amoutn as a standard sized Ipod). this is a huge amount, (Gmail gives you 2+ gigabytes) which in the near future will also be useable as extra file space. they are working on allowing you to upload files as large as 600 megabytes (a little less than the amount a CD can hold). This will allow you to access important files anywhere, or just back up data as you see fit.

I have 3 invites, though that may not be neccessary with this exploit… ;-)
